The journey begins with a pickup from the hotel, train station, airport, or any preferred location in Malang. From there, enjoy a scenic drive of approximately 2.5 hours to Tumpak Sewu Waterfall. Upon arrival, meet the local guide and take in the incredible views from the panorama point. Continue with a guided trek through forest trails and riverside paths to reach the base of the waterfall (about 2–3 hours). After the exploration, travel about 3.5 hours to the Mount Bromo area. Check in to your accommodation and enjoy a relaxing evening before the next day’s sunrise adventure.
DAY 2: MOUNT BROMO TOUR – SURABAYA HOTEL / AIRPORT
Wake up early at around 03:00 AM for the highlight of Mount Bromo experience. Ride on a 4WD Jeep to one of the best viewpoints, then witness the first rays of sunlight illuminate the dramatic landscape of the volcanic area. After sunrise, continue across the Sea of Sand toward Mount Bromo. Take a short walk followed by approximately 250 steps to reach the crater rim, where you can witness the active volcanic crater up close.
