4D3N Yogyakarta Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival – Pindul Cave Tubing – Pengger Pine Forest
Upon your arrival, welcomed by our friendly driver at Yogyakarta international airport. Depart to Gunung Kidul district for Pindul cave tubing and Oya river-tubing. Afterward, continue to Pengger Pine Forest, enjoy the beautiful mountains view and towns from above. Transfer to hotel, check-in and rest.
Day 2: Jomblang Cave – Timang Beach – Malioboro Street
Depart at 07.00 in the morning to Jomblang cave, witness the heavenly light come into amazing Jomblang Cave. Continued to Timang beach, Ride 4×4 jeep car from the parking lot to the beach trough bumpy road and experience to ride a gondola to reach the small island close to Timang Beach. Then visit Malioboro Street, the hot street of Yogyakarta with many souvenir sellers and street foods. Transfer overnight to hotel and rest.
Day 3: Sunrise Setumbu – Borobudur – Merapi Jeep Tour – Prambanan
Depart at 04.00 AM from hotel to Borobudur Area, enjoy a mystical sunrise from Setumbu Hill and explore Borobudur Temple with its stupas and it’s spectacular reliefs. Next drive to Mount Merapi, enjoy Merapi jeep lava tour and explore the area where destructed by Mount Merapi eruption in 2010. Afterward proceed to visit Prambanan temple, UNESCO world heritage site and the biggest Hindu temple in Indonesia. Transfer overnight to hotel and rest.
Day 4: Sultan Palace – Tamansari Water Castle – Departure
Depart at 08.00 AM from hotel to Sultan Palace, visit the place where the King of Yogyakarta lives. Continued to Tamansari Water Castle, explore the royal family recreation park in the past and find the underground mosque. Transfer to Yogyakarta airport, on the way you can stop to get some typical souvenir from Yogyakarta. End of the Tour!
