ITINERARY MOUNT BROMO TUMPAK SEWU WATERFALL TOUR FROM YOGYAKARTA:
DAY 1: YOGYAKARTA – PRONOJIWO NEAR TUMPAK SEWU
Begin the adventure with a warm pickup from your hotel or the train station in Yogyakarta. From there, enjoy a scenic drive that takes about 7.5 hours to reach Pronojiwo, the village near Tumpak Sewu. Upon arrival, check in to the accommodation and rest for the next day.
DAY 2: TUMPAK SEWU WATERFALL TOUR – MOUNT BROMO AREA
08:00 AM After breakfast and check out at the hotel, head to Tumpak Sewu Waterfall. Enjoy the breathtaking view from the top before trekking down a series of steps and rocky paths to reach the base of the falls (approximately 3 hours guided tour). Have lunch, followed by a 3,5hours drive to Cemoro Lawang Village near Mount Bromo. Once arrived, check in to the accommodation and rest for the evening.
DAY 3: MOUNT BROMO TOUR – SURABAYA / PROBOLINGGO
03:00 AM Wake up early for the highlight of the journey. Ride in a 4WD Jeep to reach the sunrise viewpoint for a spectacular view of the sun rising over the volcanic landscape. Afterward, drive across the Sea of Sand and enjoy a short trek about 250 steps up to the rim of Bromo Crater. Return to the accommodation for breakfast and some time to relax. Check-out hotel, transfer to Probolinggo or Surabaya. End of the Tour!
