Merapi Jeep Volcano Tour is an adventure to discover the beauty of Indonesia’s most active volcano.
Ride a Jeep 4WD to explore the area affected by Mt Merapi eruption in 2010, drive through bumpy trails, off-road on Kalikuning river and experience fun adventure on Mt Merapi foothill. Visit a mini museum with melted household utensils affected by hot clouds, visit a big rock called Alien Stone that was thrown from the top of Mount Merapi that looks like a human face without carving, and visit Bunker Kaliadem that located just a view kilometer from Mt Merapi Summit.
TOUR ITINERARY:
08:00 AM – 09:00 AM Pickup at Hotel in Yogyakarta, head to Mount Merapi
09:00 AM – 11:00 AM Explore the beauty of Mount Merapi by JEEP adventure (visiting; Bunker / Kaliadem Village, Mini Museum of eruption, Alien Stone & Off-Road to Kalikuning River)
11:00 AM – 12:00 PM Return to Yogyakarta and transfer back to your hotel. End of the Tour!
