Borobudur and Prambanan Temple Tour package is the most wanted day trip from Yogyakarta. Borobudur or Prambanan is a must-visit site in Indonesia, both temples are definitely worth visiting.

Yogyakarta was once the home of the powerful Mataram old Kingdom, the special region in Indonesia dazzles with its timeless architectural treasures. Perhaps none is quite as grand as Borobudur and Prambanan Temple, two majestic temples with sprawling complexes considered the legacy of the glorious Indonesian old kingdom.

Borobudur Temple Compound is famous as one of the greatest Buddhist monuments in the world, built in the 8th century with about 2,000,000 blocks of gray volcanic stone. Decorated with unique 2,672 relief panels and originally there are 504 Buddha statues.

Prambanan Temple is a 9th-century Hindu’s temple compound dedicated to the three Highest Gods in Hinduism, Brahma God as the Creator, Vishnu God as the Preserver and Siva God as the destroyer. The beautiful sculptures on the reliefs of Prambanan temple hint at the complexity of an artwork.

SPECIAL NOTE For Borobudur and Prambanan Temple Tour:

• Every Monday visitors can only visit the temple yard & can’t climb the temple structure for maintenance purposes.
• Children Participant will get a discount IDR 300,000 / PERSON (3 – 10 years old), children 2 years old and under will be free of charge.
• Student Participant over 10 years old will get a discount IDR 150,000 / PERSON (Need to have & show the student card when visiting the temples).
