This Mount Lawu trekking tour will begin by picking you up at the agreed meeting point then drive to Cemoro Sewu hiking basecamp, have lunch & preparation, then hike about 6 hours to post V where you will camp overnight. From the basecamp till post V you will pass lush green pine and spruce forests, plantation fields belong to local farmers, edelweiss expanse, and savanna. Have dinner and enjoy the night view from a high altitude then take a rest.
On the second day, wake up in the early morning to enjoy the beautiful sunrise from the peak of Mount Lawu. The landscape is breathtaking when the cloud slowly disappears, Huge reservoir, Mt Merapi, Mt Merbabu, and some other mountains you can see from the distance. after enough to explore the summit area, back to the campsite to have breakfast before descending to the hiking basecamp, normally it will take about 4 till 5 hours.
