Mount Bromo Tour; The adventure begins with a late-night hotel pickup in Surabaya. From there, travel comfortably to Cemoro Lawang Village, the gateway to the famous Mount Bromo. Upon arrival, switch to a 4WD Jeep and head up to the sunrise viewpoint. As dawn breaks, enjoy the dramatic volcanic landscape overlooking Mount Bromo, Mount Batok, and Mount Semeru, the tallest mountain in Java”.
After sunrise, drive down across the legendary Sea of Sand and take a short-easy walk to the rim of the Bromo crater, where you can look directly into the active volcano up close. This iconic experience makes Mount Bromo one of the most popular destinations in Indonesia.
Madakaripura Waterfall Tour; After exploring Mount Bromo and having breakfast, continue the journey to the spectacular 200m high waterfall. Guided by a knowledgeable local guide, you will trek through scenic pathways and towering cliffs to reach the highest waterfall in Java. According to local legend, this serene location was once a meditation site of Gajah Mada, the legendary military leader of the Majapahit Ancient Kingdom. After completing the exploration, relax as you are comfortably transferred back to Surabaya.
ITINERARY MOUNT BROMO MADAKARIPURA TOUR:
11:30 PM – 02:30 AM Pickup at Surabaya Area and head to Cemoro Lawang near Mount Bromo
02:30 AM – 04:00 AM Switch the vehicle with 4WD Jeep and head up to the sunrise viewpoint
04:00 AM – 06:00 AM Witness the dramatic sunrise overlooking surrounded mountains
06:00 AM – 06:30 AM Drive down across the Sea of Sand to get to Bromo Crater (free stop for photo)
06:30 AM – 08:30 AM Short trek in approximately 250 steps to reach the rim of Bromo Crater
08:30 AM – 10:00 AM Return to Cemoro Lawang and have a breakfast (optional in personal expense)
10:00 AM – 01:00 PM Next journey & Visit Madakaripura Waterfall with a knowledgeable local guide
01:00 PM – 03:30 PM Drive back to Surabaya and transfer to the Hotel or Airport. End of the Tour!
