ITINERARY 5D4N YOGYAKARTA BROMO IJEN TOUR PACKAGE:
DAY 1: ARRIVAL – PRAMBANAN TEMPLE
Upon arrival at Yogyakarta Airport, will be welcomed by an English speaking driver. Start the adventure with a visit to the Prambanan Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site built in the 9th century. Afterward, transfer to your hotel to check-in and enjoy the evening rest.
DAY 2: SULTAN PALACE – TAMANSARI WATER CASTLE – BOROBUDUR TEMPLE
09:00 AM After breakfast, you’ll visit the Sultan’s Palace (Kraton) and the nearby Tamansari Water Castle, a historical royal garden with fascinating architecture. After lunch, visit Borobudur Temple, the largest Buddhist monument in the world. Afterward, return to your hotel in Yogyakarta for rest.
DAY 3: YOGYAKARTA – CEMORO LAWANG VILLAGE NEAR BROMO
08:00 AM After breakfast and check-out, begin the journey to Cemoro Lawang Village near Mount Bromo. The drive takes around 7 hours, and you can stop for a break and lunch along the way. Once you arrive at Cemoro Lawang, check-in to your hotel, relax and prepare for the next day’s adventure.
DAY 4: MOUNT BROMO SUNRISE – BONDOWOSO VILLAGE NEAR IJEN
03:00 AM Wake up early, then take a 4WD jeep to the viewpoint at Penanjakan Hill / Kingkong Hill, where you can enjoy the stunning sunrise with panoramic views of the surrounding volcanoes. Afterward, drive through the Sea of Sand and enjoy a short trek about 250 steps up to the rim of Bromo Crater. Return to hotel for breakfast and check-out, followed by a 5 hours journey to Bondowoso Village near Ijen. Once you arrive, check-in to your hotel and enjoy some free time to rest.
DAY 5: IJEN CRATER BLUE FIRE – BANYUWANGI PORT / BALI
01:00 AM After Check-out Hotel, the last day adventure begins with a morning drive to Ijen Paltuding Post, where you will start to trek for about 2 hours to the top of Mount Ijen. Witness the stunning blue fire phenomenon, followed by a visit to the crater lake and summit area. After the exploration, descend back to Paltuding Post for breakfast. Then transfer to Ketapang Port in Banyuwangi, where you can take a ferry to Bali. See you on your next adventure!
