The Ramayana is a revered ancient Indian epic that tells the story of Prince Rama’s battle against evil forces. The key characters in the Ramayana Ballet include Rama, Sinta, and Hanoman, who symbolize goodness, wisdom, and devotion. On the opposing side is Rahwana, the antagonist, representing greed and arrogance.

The Performance of Ramayana Ballet at Prambanan
Ramayana Ballet Performance takes place just behind the Prambanan Temple complex. You can enjoy the performance three times a week: on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday evenings.
May to October: The performance is held in the open-air theater, allowing you to experience the magic of the ballet under the stars, with the majestic Prambanan Temple as the backdrop.
November to April: The performance moves indoors to a stage behind the temple to provide a more intimate setting during the rainy season.

06:00 PM – 07:00 PM Pickup at Hotel in Yogyakarta, head to Prambanan
07:00 PM – 09:30 PM Get the reserved seat and enjoy the Performance of Ramayana Ballet
09:30 PM – 10:00 PM Transfer back to your hotel in Yogyakarta. End of the Tour!
